Q1
You also have another course, the IDSP Online. What are the differences between the IDCWC Online and the IDSP Online?

Ans:
The IDCWC course aims at making you adept at using instructional design principles for the design and development of effective courses and trainings. The ideal audience for this course comprises those individuals who have good writing skills and who have less than 4 years of experience in content development/training. Thus, if your job comprises designing and developing courses/trainings OR if you are looking for a career change into a job that would comprise design and development of course/trainings, then the IDCWC course is for you.

Ans:
An instructional designer is an individual who is involved in content creation process. This means that a certain level of intellectual maturity is desired in the individual, which we feel comes only after graduation. Even those who are in the final year can apply for the course. Most eLearning organizations also have similar requirements. As Wavelength's courses are geared towards meeting the requirements of eLearning industry, we review the certificates to map the participant's profile to the requirements of the course.

What are my prospects upon completing this course?

Ans:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you are a graduate with < 6 months of experience:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wavelength's IDCWC course has set standards for ID education in India. For this reason, this course and the certification is recognized by most eLearning organizations. We often get requirements for fresher level positions from various multinational organizations located all over India. As the contact program has been taken mainly by professionals of 2-14 years of experience, the requirement though burgeoning, remains unfulfilled. There is a huge requirement of fresh IDCWC certificate-holders at any given point in time.
-----------------------------------------------------

-----------------------------------------------------
This course has been drawing professionals with 2-14 years of content development/training experience who wish to hone their ID skills to design and develop more effective content. Almost all IDCWC students have found that this course has helped them carve a bigger and better niche in their respective organizations. Some have won accolades within their organizations for ID. Q10
I write good English but I don't intend to take up a job in Instructional Design. Will this course help me?

Ans:
This course helps you create instructionally effective content. It exposes you to the magic of instructional design, which can make your course outshine those that are created on an ad-hoc basis. This ability is scarce in the freelance market, which is growing along with the industry. If you write well, you can learn to write instructionally effective content. This will give you a good standing in the Indian Content Development market as a freelance instructional designer.
