Views of some of our
earlier ID Workshop Participants:
- “
Very interesting. Well-designed content and creative. A totally
different experience than the casual and usual corporate trainings
that I had attended earlier. Very intense. Full of content, role
plays, and case-studies. I was able to easily connect with the
trainer. Definitely applicable in my current role; it is a much
needed knowledge enhancement."
Sindhu Rao - Curriculum Developer,
Oracle India,
Bangalore.
- "The training program was really
informative and well organized. I learned a lot of things that
I would like to apply in my work. I really loved the training.
It was very lively." Loganathan
C. G. - Deputy Manager, e-Training, Sutherland
Global Services, Chennai.
- "I
want to thank you for the training program and the hospitality
combined with warmth. I enjoyed the roleplay sessions and learning
more about the ID world. My enthusiasm for the training program
was particularly strengthened as a result of my interactions with
the facilitator and other participants.
What I liked about the program
is that it is highly interactive and requires continuous participation.
The learner must be actively engaged in the learning process;
participants were frequently required to learn pieces of information
and respond to questions about the situations. The assignments
have given me the insight of practical application of the learning.
I've started application of ID at my workplace."
Sulochana Verma -
Project Manager , Thomson
Digital , Noida.
- “
The content that the workshop covered was really very good. The
activities were designed to reinforce whatever was taught in the
class quite well. " Prasita
Sankar - Curriculum Developer, Oracle
India, Bangalore.
- “It was very informative. I
specially liked the information about eLearning that one usually
gains through experience. I do feel more confident about ID and
content writing, post this training."
Nipun Jetley - Trainer, Computer
Sciences Corporation (CSC India), Noida.

Workshop Brief
The scope of instructional design is so vast that it permeates all
areas that pertain to the transfer of learning. For this reason,
instructional design enhances the effectiveness of all kinds of
learning transfer including training, academics, and eLearning.
When a trainer prepares a training program, he or she automatically
begins to map the requirements and the characteristics of the learners,
to the content, the delivery vehicles, and the manner in which the
delivery should happen.
A formal understanding of instructional design ensures that all
those who design and develop content for any kind of delivery medium,
do so with confidence, accuracy, and efficiency. This is so because
instructional design equips them with the ability to analyze the
instructional problem and then propose, create, develop, and implement
the right solution, through the use of time-tested methods.
The eLearning medium also requires that the designers understand
the characteristics of this medium, to design and develop their
learning solutions around these characteristics. Though the instructional
design process for all mediums is the same, the development process
for elearning is different and requires the creation of a storyboard.
This workshop focuses on equipping the participants with the twin
skills of:
- using instructional design to design any kind of training/eLearning
content and
- writing the storyboards for eLearning content.
This 3-Day workshop is an extremely focused training program, where
the participants actively engage in learning and applying instructional
design for effective content creation. The ideal participant for
this workshop will have six months to 5 years of experience in any
of the areas listed under "Who can Benefit the Most" section.
