Storytelling for Trainers & Content Developers

- Trainers/Senior Trainers/Training
Managers and Content Developers with

Objective of the Workshop:
At the end of the training the participants will be able to design
effective instructional stories for training/eLearning content by
synthesizing the concepts of storytelling with instructional design.
Brief:
Instructional Storytelling is a craft that requires the deft touch
of an artist as well as a logician. We all know that a well-told
instructional story can enable a learner to learn difficult concepts
faster and retain them better. Most trainers and training creators
battle with the questions - where to use a story, how to write a
story that could truly bind the audience, and how to maintain the
delicate balance of education and entertainment.
The good news is that instructional storytelling is more of a craft
than an art and hence can be learned and perfected with practice.
What it requires is a step-by-step logical process of deduction
and creation. This training workshop helps you develop the skill
to design effective instructional stories for different types of
content.
Those interested can learn more about instructional storytelling
by reading the Wavelength Article, "The
Long and Short of Instructional Storytelling".
