From the Editor's Desk - August 2009
                                        Previous Editorials >>>

Welcome to the August edition of Wavelength.

We hear that some signs of an economic revival have been seen on the world horizon. That’s good news. Delhi has seen some rain – that’s again some good news. Unfortunately none of these seem to have lifted the general mood, which remains painfully dull. The H1N1 scare coupled with tighter purse-strings, is keeping us from having fun.

If you too are feeling dull and depressed, jump out of your mood, and force yourself to have some fun. I know that the inertia will be tough to overcome, so I propose some kind of physical action – a small but deliberate one – so that you could send your moods the message that you are back in control. Then decide upon an activity that you’d love to do, and make it happen – have some fun and watch the dark veil of despondence lift.

This month’s Mystery of the Month section article addressed those content writers who are engaged in the eternal quest of the Writer’s Paradise. I request you to give up the quest – There’s no perfect place to follow your love for writing – you need to create one. And to create it, you need to FORGE ahead. Read “The Writer’s Paradise” at http://www.vibrantwavelength.com/five_things_that_good_content_writers_do.htm and make those five little verbs your personal tools to get around the trickiest of writing assignments.

Here’s a quick synopsis of Wavelength’s online course offerings.
