Welcome to this edition of Wavelength.

Weather now is officially unpredictable, and climate has become a randomly dynamic phenomenon. Along with the news of impossibly high temperatures in Southern Australia, comes the news of sleet-covered roads in the warmer regions of the US. Nearer home, in my city, the winters that we knew and loved so well would probably now be found only in stories. While weather is acting crazy, the markets seem to be riding a brakeless car downhill. The good news is that unlike the weather, this problem can be managed…by each one of us, in our own ways!

When it comes to managing our fortunes in recession, one of the most important methods is to arm us with new or higher order skills. Wavelength believes in the potential of the individual and the human ability to put that potential to good use. With this strong belief and with the support of our course participants and readers, we’ve come this far – we’ve offered courses and programs that have been instrumental in bringing about a positive and productive change in the way Indian eLearning and training industry worked.

With our sight fixed on the same goal, we have designed and developed two new contact programs, the Advanced Instructional Design Certificate (AIDC) course and the Programming Logic Fundamentals (PLFC) course.

Here are the brief descriptions of these two courses.

  • The Advanced Instructional Design Certificate Course (AIDC) starting on Mar 08, 2008:

This 2-month course is designed for professionals with a good understanding of instructional design, who wish to take their learning to the next higher level. Past Participants of Wavelength’s IDCWC and IDSP courses are the ideal audience for this program.

If you wish to explore new practical and theoretical frontiers in instructional design, read the details of this course at: http://www.vibrantwavelength.com/aidc_details.htm

Please send your queries to us at connect[at]vibrantwavelength[dot]com or call us at 9810324284 / 0120-4315505

  • The Programming Logic Fundamentals Course (PLFC) starting on Feb 28, 2009:
  • This 1-month course is created for such individuals who wish to gain the power of building efficient and clean programming logic. This course doesn’t require any prior programming learning or experience and the only pre-requisite for this course is graduation. If you want to explore programming as a future career-option, if you want to change lanes and move from either graphics or writing into programming, or if you program but you wish to iron out the kinks from your code-building concepts; this is the right program for you. This course instills the concepts of programming through JavaScript.

This course could also act as a bridge course for those graphic designers who wish to take our Flex 3.0 Application Developer Certificate Course (FADC.)

If you want to strengthen your foundations in programming or explore programming as an option, read the details of this course at: http://www.vibrantwavelength.com/plfc_certificate.htm

Please send your queries to us at connect[at]vibrantwavelength[dot]com or call us at 9810324284 / 0120-4315505

In the month of February, Wavelength is also organizing two FREE workshops. Here are the details.

If you would like to attend any of these three-hour workshops (Saturdays - 2 PM to 5 PM at Wavelength, Noida), then please register early as the number of seats is limited.

If you are interested in enrolling for any of these courses, write to us at connect[at]vibrantwavelength[dot]com or call us at 9810324284 / 0120-4315505.

All the best for this year and also for the years to come! May this year bring you the comfort of your skills being your forever insurance!

Thanks and Warm Regards,
Shafali
