From the Editor's Desk - July 2005
Welcome to this issue of Wavelength. July is a special month,
as Wavelength has launched its Instructional Design & Content
Writing Certificate (IDCWC) course. The first course group starts
on July 03, 2005. The response to the course has been wonderful.
Wavelength welcomes the first IDCWC course group and hopes that
all of us will wish them the very best for their journey into the
beautiful and enthralling world of Instructional Design.
The rains are here in time; probably they are practicing time
management. The slight drop in temperature is very heartening, especially
for our kind. We are those who love to romanticize memories and
stash them into a cupboard that flies open each time we find ourselves
looking for ideas. Unfortunately, we also work in air-conditioned
offices until the skies outside turn dark. We forget the sweet fragrance
of rain and the beauty it brings along.
But then we wear these shackles so that we may be free. This
month, Wavelength brings to you some pointers on Time Management
that can help make these shackles lighter and more comfortable.
“Make Time Stop!” is the Mystery of the Month for July.
Keeping with the tradition of Wavelength, this article is written
from the Indian ID viewpoint.
On June 12, 2005, Wavelength successfully conducted its first
IDO workshop. The second IDO Workshop is slated for July 17, 2005.
You are invited to go through the details of the first workshop
and register for the next.
The Site of the Month for July is… On second thoughts,
I shouldn’t spoil the surprise. Please remember to check it
out.
I would like to thank you all for subscribing to Wavelength.
I hope you continue to find Wavelength useful and thought provoking.
Warm Regards,
Shafali R. Anand.
