From the Editor's Desk - March 2009

Welcome to the March edition of Wavelength.

There’s a Peepal Tree in front of our office, and I can see it from our window. About two weeks ago, it was completely bare – with not a scratch of green on it. Two days later, I saw little silky leaves sprout from its brown branches – still the brown dominated and the little leaves looked so vulnerable though pretty. A week later, the tree had turned light green and its leaves shimmered in the sunlight. When I looked at it today morning, it stood there decked in the colors of youth - fresh untainted lush green.

Of course, the cycle of life would continue. Some leaves would be plucked young by the hands of fate, others will continue to live, until they turn brown and drop off. Humans too have similar lifecycles, except that between being born and dropping off; they accomplish some productive work. Each of us takes up a cause – and we, the readers of this newsletter and its writer, have taken up the cause of learning.

This month’s Mystery of the Month article from Wavelength too is directed towards achieving our end of imparting learning effectively. Read “Esteem Needs & Learner Motivation” at http://www.vibrantwavelength.com/esteem_needs_learner_motivation.htm to revisit the what, how, and why of learner motivation for the professional learner.

In the February issue of Wavelength, we had introduced the one-month Content Writing for the Web Certificate (CWWC) Online course from Wavelength. This course is our attempt at assisting those individuals who wish to merge their passion for writing with the structure and methods of web content writing.

This course is for those individuals who wish become freelance web-content writers, find a job in this area, or who simply wish to publish their own content on the web… the right way.

The Content Writing for the Web Certificate Online Course – Duration: 1 Month – Session begins: June 01, 2009:
