Hello Friends,

Welcome to this edition of Wavelength.

This month, I’ve nothing good to say about weather. About three weeks ago, the same weather duped me into believing that I needed a new Jaipuri Quilt, and I bought one; only to realize that I couldn’t use it yet. This treacherous weather spent the last two weeks forcing me to wonder whether we were moving towards summer instead of moving away from it. Now, in the last two days, Delhi has enjoyed a sprinkling from the heavens and the temperature has fallen. Today…well, I am not sure! The way the weather has been acting, I hardly feel that I know it. I guess it is a stranger to me.

This brings me to another stranger that many of us work for…the Online Stranger! Please don’t read more meaning into the phrase than there is – (or am I the one doing the reading :) ) The Perfect Online Stranger! Ever heard of this stranger? No? Well, then this month’s Mystery of the Month article should be of interest to you. This stranger is quite like the weather – when we think we know all about this online stranger, is when we realize that we know nothing!

If you are feeling a bit flummoxed, please don’t blame me…it’s the weather. Ahem!

Now coming back to Wavelength…we are organizing a 5-Day workshop on Instructional Design & Content Writing.(5 days - Monday to Friday, January 14 - January 18, 2008)
I know that some organizations couldn’t confirm their participation in time for the workshop that is currently in progress. For those and other organizations that would like to sponsor participants for our next workshop, there is good news. We are organizing the next ID & CW workshop in January 2008. The details of the workshop can be found at:
http://www.vibrantwavelength.com/instructionalDesign_trgworkshop_jan08.htm

You would probably find our 2-Day Design workshops of immediate interest. Following are the details of these workshops.

Registrations for the Instructional Design for Senior Professionals Online Certificate Course (IDSP Online) session beginning on November 01, 2007, are currently open. Please find the details of this course at: http://www.vibrantwavelength.com/idsp_online.htm

The registrations for IDCWC Contact and IDCWC Online’s upcoming sessions are closed now. If you are keen on taking any of these courses, you are welcome to register for the IDCWC Contact’s November 2007 session or IDCWC Online Jan-March 2008 session.

The 15th course group of the ActionScript Developer Certificate (ASDC) course is beginning on October 28, 2007.

I hope that everything (including the weather) stays great for you, this month and in all months that follow. I wish to thank our new subscribers, our course/training participants, and the organizations that have chosen Wavelength and its quality-orientation, and have inspired us all these years.

Thanks and Warm Regards,
Shafali
