Hello Friends,

Welcome to this edition of Wavelength.

Traditionally Diwali marks the beginning of winters. Had it
not been so, the heat from the Diwali lamps and the
firecrackers would make us sweat. I believe that our
traditions were originally built upon strong logical
foundations. But let's talk about the change that Diwali
heralds. In Ayodhya, it marked the beginning of Rama's
reign...the beginning of a positive change. Positive change
is the spirit of Diwali. It wants us to cleanup, it wants
us to turn over a new leaf...it symbolizes this through new
clothes and new vessels - Diwali reminds us to review and
then renew our lives.

In our ongoing attempt to accompany you on your growth path,

The site for October should be fun-filled...it should be
about rockets, stars, and fireworks! It should remind us
that there is a child hidden within each of us and that
child loves colors and comics. So you know now, the Site
of the Month for October has a comic connection...or so it seems!

Why this site?

Here are my reasons.

1.A simple but colorful pre-loader accompanies us to the
site or to the space! The characters, the colors, the
treatment; everything relates to comic books.
2.The sound effects are simple and...space-type! Not that
I've been to space, but I am an avid fan of Star Trek, and
so I know.
3.If you are wondering what "The Adplanet" is, click the
head icon. Now you see three red heads (not three
redheads...unfortunately for some and thankfully for others:)
The first head labeled "Who Are We?" would give you your
answers. Ignore the multiple instances of "thus" to figure
out what they are...and when you've figured it out, please
drop me an email.
4.Fortunately, their site is sticky enough to keep the
audience in...and while the audience is in, they explore.
This is what I did, and I discovered that they are excellent
at what they do, which is website development.
5.Click "Portfolio" to view some of their works, which are
some other good sites. I particularly liked the Nokia site.
6.When you click the "Portfolio" link, you would see the
Mage's hand with the fire-ball rotating over it. It is an
interesting effect.
7.Click "Agencies" to see another interesting menu formation.
With Adplanet represented as the sun, the agencies rotate
around it as planets.
8.Check out the satellite with the "Initiate Contact" label.
Do notice the other labels too. They connect you with the
space theme that runs through the entire site.
