Who Should Attend?
- Project Managers/Instructional Designers
and Content Developers/Technical Leads/Programmers with
at least 1 year of development experience in the area of eLearning
who wish to understand the concept of SCORM and its relationship
with eLearning content development.
Objective of the Workshop:
At the end of the training the participants will be able to understand
the concept of SCORM and its use in the development of SCORM-conformant
content.
Brief:
Technology is fast making inroads into every aspect of learning.
With LMSs and LCMSs becoming almost a need for educational institutions
abroad, the Indian eLearning industry is also experiencing a parallel
need. This is the need to be able to deliver SCORM-conformant content
to our clients.
Among other capabilities that SCORM-conformant content has there
is one that is extremely important and results in a lot of convenience.
It is that SCORM-conformant content can be deployed on different
LMSs with ease. The content also becomes OS-independent and reusable.
These advantages have resulted into a requirement of professionals
who understand SCORM-conformance and who can apply this knowledge
in creation of eLearning content.
This workshop aims at helping the participants understand the concept
of SCORM and its use in the development of SCORM-conformant content.
