The Philosophy of Wavelength's Courses & Training Programs:

If you are wondering what this is all about, let us be direct. This is about what our courses stand for. Our courses aren’t just about training you on certain concepts; they are about engaging you in a process of continuous learning. Our goal is to establish knowledge-ownership in our participants!

The Philosophy of Wavelength’s Courses & Training Programs:

Nothing in this world should exist without a philosophy that makes its existence reasonable. Though many of us have stopped questioning the philosophy behind learning, for some it is the primary criterion behind their decision to enroll for a particular program. Wavelength courses have been created for the latter group of people.

The foundational principles that support Wavelength courses are:

  • Concepts need to be rooted deep.
  • Applying knowledge without knowing the reason is pointless.
  • Concepts grow through focused effort from the learner.
  • Conscious application of concepts results in growth of knowledge.
  • Working within timeframes is an essential competency for any job.
  • Adult learners spend effort to determine how a competency would be useful to them.
  • Humans are meant to create, not replicate.
  • A skill should be mastered before it is included in your skill-set.
  • Mastering a skill is hard work sans shortcuts.
So, who should be interested in our Courses & Training Programs:

Thus, for our courses and training programs, we seek participants who:

  • Have spent effort on determining how their chosen course would benefit them.
  • Appreciate the need of hard work in building a particular competency.
  • Appreciate the importance of becoming “creators.”
  • Respect their own time as well as that of the others.
  • Plan their activities to devote time for their course/training program.
  • Fulfill the pre-requisites listed for their chosen course/training program.
  • Would like develop a core-competence, instead of a peripheral know-how.
  • Believe that regard is reciprocal and that it is a cardinal human value.
And who are NOT in our Audience Radar:

If our learning philosophy doesn’t match your expectations and personality, then our courses and training programs will probably not benefit you.

I know that this is an unexpected write-up. It isn’t a politically correct write-up either. But I think that its important to say it - Wavelength’s courses and programs look for a cognitive match in their prospective participants.

Before you decide to entrust us with your learning experience, we would like you to recall that true learning can happen only through directed effort; and recommend that you plan for it. Of course, completing a Wavelength course could be a heady experience. You’ll feel charged up, ready to take on the world in your chosen field; and yes, we’ll be happy to assist you reach your goal.

I wish you a great, knowledge-empowered future ahead!

Warm Regards,
