Online Course Details...
"
Prior to this course, I had taken few online courses, but
those were very short 1-2 hr courses. This was the first elaborate
online learning experience and needless to say, I thoroughly
enjoyed the progressive journey. The course is perfectly designed
and structured with modules containing the apt assignments,
quizzes etc. But the need to complete the modules within the
stipulated time made it really effective and different. The
discussion forums were the most useful for me, I learnt not
only from the facilitator but also from my fellow participants.
I would like to thank Shafali for directing us perfectly through
every stage of the course.
Thanks Wavelength! "
Shreedevi R. Kuttan,
Trainer & Instructional Designer, Accenture,
Bangalore
"
I am delighted I took the IDCWC online course and it is, I
think, a perfect example of a very well-structured online
course. Students were given very clear guidance regarding
the course content, evaluation etc.
To be honest, I didn’t expect
it to be that intensive when I registered. There is indeed
a lot of material to cover in three months and it is challenging.
But I feel I have learned a lot and would certainly recommend
it to anybody interested in Instructional Design."
Dr. Veronique Gauthier,
Editor, Authentik
Ltd., Dublin, Ireland.
"
The course was a delight and the best learning experience
I’ve ever had. It was well delivered and the course
activities were conducted very professionally. The course
gave me a good grasp over ID concepts and their practical
application in the industry. I took up this course as I want
to make a career in the elearning industry and the knowledge
gained through this course gives me the confidence.
I thank Wavelength for providing
such a wonderful course."
Sangeeta Srinivasan,
Associate, Wipro
BPO
, Pune.
"Kudos
to the Wavelength team for presenting an extremely well-designed
and informative course. Probably for the first time in my
life, I actually enjoyed a learning experience and looked
forward to learn more. I had designed e-learning courses earlier,
however, had no formal training in Instructional Designing.
I cannot express in words how much richer I have become in
terms of knowledge gained through this course. The interactivity
and multimedia used in the course is marvellous. I, particularly,
liked the assessment methodology used, as it ensured learning
by me. I would like to thank Shafali for her guidance and
support throughout the course. I simply cannot wait to recommend
this course to my colleagues”
Monalisa Guru, Learning
& Knowledge Specialist, Accenture,
Bangalore
"I
would like to thank the entire Wavelength Team for the continuous
support and tireless contribution in guiding me all the way
through. It has indeed been a real time learning experience
for me. Being a complete layman about an online course, this
course has actually introduced me to the world of e-learning,
an evolving technology in the corporate sector. Throughout
the course, I could not only improve my writing skills, but
also enhance my knowledge with the varied ID theories and
their practical application. This course has definitely given
me a clear insight into instructional design and has equipped
me with the strategies of dealing with content.
The course has great flexibility
in terms of applying the concepts learnt instantly, to the
content. I enjoyed the course greatly and I truly feel that
this course has given me a platform in shaping up my career
in e- learning industry. Now I can make a fresh start in this
particular domain, confidently applying the knowledge accumulated
from such a wonderful course.
I am truly looking forward to such
courses from Wavelength which I honestly feel will pave a
way for enhancing my career horizons. Thanks to Wavelength
for making things so simple for me. It was indeed an honor
on my part, being a member of the wavelength family. I am
heartily thankful to Wavelength for providing me with such
an excellent course.”
Shibani Banik, Content
Writer, Satvik
Inc, Bangalore.
"First,
I’d like to say that I loved everything about the course.
One of the reasons I selected IDCWC Online was the flexibility
that the online course offered. Being able to go at my own
pace, while at the same time having a set time frame in which
to complete the modules, was exactly what I needed. I like
that I had the opportunity to choose when to take each module,
but also loved the structure of having to complete each module
within the required time frame. This offered the flexibility
that is necessary when trying to juggle work, home, and coursework,
but also offered the structure needed to ensure that each
module was completed within a reasonable time frame.
I also liked that we were able to “build” the
project over the course of the program. This, too, provided
the structure needed, but also provided the opportunity to
receive the feedback needed to ensure that I was correctly
processing the information taught within the course.
The information presented in the course was
invaluable. I’ve been writing online safety courses
for over a year, and edited a full year prior to that. The
material presented in the course made what I do make a lot
more sense when I viewed it in light of the various theories
presented. What I gained the most from the course was the
ability to understand my target audience on a deeper level.
I feel that this has made me become a better writer in the
sense that I am now able to put a “face” on my
audience. This has enabled me to focus more on connecting
with my audience and relaying the concepts to them at a level
they can understand rather than just focusing on the writing
itself.
In short, I thoroughly enjoyed taking the course. In spite
of the numerous things going on at the time of year that I
took the course (Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays here
in the U.S.), I looked forward to taking my classes each week.
Keep up the good work!
I would highly recommend this course
to anyone looking for a quality online course in Instructional
Design. It was a pleasure being part of such a wonderful group!”
Sheri Bankston, Script
Writer & Editor, Safety
Council of the LA Capitol Area, Louisiana, USA.
"I
must say this was probably one of the best experiences of
learning I had in my whole life. It was because:
* I had the freedom to learn and focus on what I wanted to
draw / learn in-depth from the content.
* The methodology was learner-led, where I had to understand
concepts and apply them in assignments.
* The duration was just apt to learn and apply, so that learning
remained with you.
* Excellent facilitation by the Facilitator. Truly marvelous,
the way she encourages you to learn!
*There was feedback as well as recognition at the end of each
module, which kept you going.
*You never felt alone, because of the discussions with fellow
colleagues. ”
Ignatius Stanislaus
Lobo, GM - Sales Training & Systems, Pepsi
India, Hyderabad
"This
course has been one of the greatest achievements in my life.
It has helped me immensely to perform my current role effectively.
This course is a must for people who want to make a career
in eLearning. I have already recommended it to some of my
friends wanting to start their career in ID. I am glad that
I did this course.
As far as the course content goes, it is apt for people who
want to learn and implement ID in their job roles. It is well
structured and the information is also not very heavy for
a new person to digest. The learning experience is great.
The discussion forum was a great platform to discuss our views.
”
Abhilasha Iyer, Instructional
Analyst, Accenture,
Bangalore
"The
way the course was facilitated was interesting and encouraging
all along the journey.
The thing that interested me most is that I was able to see
and feel what I learned through the course modules. Once I
moved on into the next module, I felt that what I have learned
earlier was implemented and applied on me as a learner, later
on within the course. This helped me to understand and live
in the experience. I could simply link what I learned with
what I implemented, whether in the course activities, assignments
or even in the discussion threads.
The way the course was presented has inspired me to think
instructionally and to become more involved in my career as
instructional designer. I loved the idea of living a story
with the characters within the course, tracking the story
of their life that helped to understand the concepts more
clearly. The user-friendly interface of the course also was
of a great help.
Honestly, I could not think of any thing that is missing or
might improve the effectiveness of the course further.”
Suba Jarrar, Instructional
Designer, AL-Quds
Open University

"
It was wonderful experience of learning ID. I handle a team
of content developers (I am not addressing them as IDs yet,
including me). I come from an entirely functional background,
and this new team of content developers, develops content
based upon the functional requirements. This course came to
me at the right time and I could relate my requirements with
the structure of content and also those useful tips, which
could make my life easy. Today my guidance to my people is
completely based on the principles I learnt. So, thanks to
IDCWC.”
Gurudath Shenoy,
Training Manager,
ICICIPrudential LifeInsurance ,Bangalore
"The
course was just great. It has given me a new insight into
various classic theories related to learning. It has also
enhanced my understanding of the world of e-learning, an emerging
technology in the Indian industry. I thank Wavelength for
its efforts in building and running this course in a most
effective blended way. I congratulate the team for making
it happen.”
Keshava Murthy,
Manager (Technical Training),
Reliance Energy Ltd. ,Mumbai.
"The
IDCWC Online course gave me a chance to see an online course
from a student's perspective. As a part of production unit
that creates the online course, this perspective is invaluable.
The best thing I liked about the course was that it teaches
ID through a very sound ID structure. I enjoyed discovering
the ID theories applied within the course, it was a-double-loop
learning! The course is customized and I could relate to the
example and cite my experience in the discussions and assignments.
The course is exciting and a challenging must-do for any aspiring
ID!”
Jayati Mukherjee, Lead
Content Developer, Tata
Interactive Systems, Mumbai
"I
felt the course was well structured and the activities well
placed throughout the training. I enjoyed the course and the
method of delivery. The course has helped to motivate me and
helped me see how online training can be implemented effectively.
I also enjoyed the group discussions and finding out other
learner’s views on different aspects of ID. I learnt
a lot about ID from the course and also enjoyed the learning
process that was used.
Thank you wavelength, for a course well designed as well as
interesting. ”
Kogiela R, Instructional
Designer, Nedbank,
Johannesburg, South Africa.
"I
had a wonderful learning experience. I thought that Instructional
Design has got to do only with common sense and this course
proved me wrong, as there are solid theories behind it. The
3 months duration is just perfect for someone working, not
too long or too short. The course structure is very good and
to the right detail designed by using good ID strategies.
The best thing about this course
in comparison to those provided by other institutes is the
discussion forum where all learners come to a common platform
and share their opinions and learn together and the feedbacks
from the mentor for all assignments. Every step of the way,
we knew our progress.
I also liked the fact that the
course coordinator was very active and ensured that none of
us missed the deadlines. I have already referred some of my
colleagues who are enjoying the course right now. I am sure
anybody can handle interviews very confidently after attending
this course and those who are already IDs can create good
courses.”
Romola Kshetrimayum,
Sr. Training & Documentation Specialist, Oracle
India, Bangalore.
"Extremely
well made course. Fun to learn, concepts explained very clearly.
Everything taught, is definitely put into practice well. The
discussion forums were a great platform to interact and added
the much needed human touch to this online course.
I especially, liked the way we
were gently guided towards the completion of the final project.
The remarks were indeed helpful. Of course, the sense of satisfaction
on completing the project
is exhilarating!"
Hajira Shaheen, Adwords
Senior Representative, Google
India, Hyderabad.
“Honestly,
this has been one of the best learning experiences I have
ever had. For me, it was much better than a traditional classroom
setting. I was able to focus on key concepts pertinent to
me without "noise."
I have seen other courses offered with promises of similar
results in an accelerated format such as a week. These courses
have even carried international brand names in the industry;
yet, which have defied logic as to how the content could be
as comprehensive or absorbed properly in such a timeframe.
I had a good time and learned from the course and my peers.
The course was
great."
Brandon Tautimer, eLearning
& New Media Designer, HD
Institute, Arizona, USA.
"Learning
Instructional Design with Wavelength was a wonderful experience.
They gave me a complete, planned and powerful course. It not
only taught me how to design courses but also gave me confidence
to design my life. The guidance provided was something
extra-ordinary. I am extremely thankful to Wavelength..”
B. Kundhavi,
Trainee (Instructional Design),
Animantz. ,Mumbai.
"At
the onset, I would like to thank the Wavelength Team for having
created this wonderfully enriching program, which had so much
depth in its content. It seems that someone (has to be a team
of experts) has painstakingly gone through the various aspects
of the course in order to create this masterpiece. The course,
by involving the learners in various activities, took an incredibly
practical approach to impart knowledge on the subject of Instructional
Design. Had it not been for the concept assignments, project
assignments, discussions, quizzes and the regular feedback
from the facilitator, the course would have merely been academic
in nature. This course serves as a fine benchmark for me for
taking up any other Elearning courses in future. I may or
may not choose Instructional Design as a profession, but the
learning I have acquired here surely helps me in gaining understanding
of the ID world. It was truly a memorable journey which I
shall cherish....at least till the time I take up one of your
next courses! ”
Praneet Upadhyaya, Training
Lead (Voice & Accent), Keane
Worldzen, New Delhi
"This
is my first exposure to an online course and to the world
of elearning, and I must say that the first impression has
been really excellent. Before signing up for the course, I
admit that I was a bit skeptical about whether it would actually
be helpful. But I'm glad that I was proved wrong! The course
content, the look and feel, discussion forum, assignments
-the way it was all put together is really amazing. Last but
not the least, Shafali as the facilitator, was the icing on
the cake! I really admire her commitment and the patience.
Her insightful comments and suggestions have been really helpful.
All in all, it has been a great learning and fun experience
for me. Thank you, Wavelength and especially Shafali.”
Rachana Ramanan, Technical
Lead, Wipro
Technologies, Bangalore
"The
Instructional Designing course has been a very enriching experience.
The
course caters to practical application of ID theories. The
project given ensured that we were able to apply all aspects
covered in the course, giving us a practical perspective of
the end-to-end ID process.
This course has helped me build
the creativity required to design courses.”
Bhuvaneshwari

"1.
I was looking for a course that would give me a good understanding
of the concepts involved with Instructional Design, and the
IDCWC Online course met my needs completely.
2. The course was conducted in a very professional manner
and I was quite impressed with the amount of material that
was delivered through the online medium.
3. The graphics, interactive animations and lectures were
very in-depth and thought provoking. I am sure a lot of work
must have gone into creating each of the modules.
4. The discussions were interesting and it was a good forum
to learn about the viewpoints of other participants.
5. I was wondering if you are coming up with any other similar
courses by any chance? If you are, I would definitely be interested!”
Ravi Raj Adukambarai,
Associate Producer, McDougal
Littell, Chicago,IL, USA.
"IDCWC
has been the BEST course I’ve done till date and I highly
recommend this to an aspiring ID or anyone who wishes to be
a part of the eLearning or training industry. The Wavelength
approach to learning is hands-on, engaging, challenging and
highly effective.
The course is as good as the learner
chooses it to be, while doing course assignments, applying
this learning on-the-job, and to life, in general. Apart from
demystifying ID in a stimulating and enjoyable way, it has
boosted my confidence and helped me understand concepts that
once seemed like lofty jargon! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed
the combination of self-paced learning coupled with intelligent
discussions and guided learning.
This was the first online course
I did and I didn’t once feel it was impersonal or something
that I had to suffer through. Thanks to the Wavelength team
for your prompt assistance, encouragement and joie de vivre
throughout! Thanks for designing such a great course!"
Tanya Machado, Lead
Content Developer, Tata

"·
The course was well-structured and organized.
· The experience has been very good and the benefits
of online mode well utilized.
· Application of principles has been well-etched.

"Course
was very informative. Good learning experience. We could learn
lot of concepts, the history of ID and about media. The media
interaction features was very good. Application of these features
well learnt by understanding its usage in this course. Thank
you very much for your valuable guidance then and there.”
Dr. Krishnasamy
Prema, Asst. Consultant (Instructional Design), Tata
Consultancy Services ,Chennai
"The
best thing about the course has been that it helped me get
a job in one of the premier elearning organizations in the
country. Besides imparting learning in the most effective
manner via the discussion forum and assignments made it more
interesting. The reviews were most helpful in learning the
concepts as well as correcting my mistakes. I guess I put
in more effort and gained more from an online course than
I had done for regular classes.
The content of the course is rich and the interactivities
are interesting and also fun. It has been a great learning
experience for me”
Beena Nair, Instructional
Designer, Tata
Interactive Systems, Mumbai
"I
feel that the course was very well structured. The examples
and interactive exercises were superb. The course has been
designed in such a way that people have to learn discipline
and planning their time. I also feel that the course facilitator
as well the team at Wavelength were very supportive and considerate."
Dhanya Menon, Sr. Technical
Writer,
Ocimum Biosolutions, Hyderabad.
"Thanks
for this opportunity. The course is highly interactive. I
enjoyed as well as learnt. I think
this course is the right way to step into the field of Instructional
Design. "
Neha Malshe, Ex-Graduate
Teaching Assistant, Ohio
State University (USA), Mumbai.
"This
is an impeccable training program. All the apprehensions,
if any, disappear as soon as the course begins. The wavelength
newsletter had helped me to judge this program and I am glad
I took this decision.
The course caters to the audience’s needs. The information
is delivered in a lucid manner and the activities like forum
discussion, quizzes etc, foster a zealous attitude in the
learner. The efforts taken by the team are laudable. In short
the course fulfils the promise of effective learning. "
Vidya Hajirnis, Instructional
Designer,
Enviro Vigil, Thane (Mumbai).
"It
had been a wonderful journey through the IDCWC course where
I got immense value addition to my current ID knowledge.
Thank you for such a wonderful and innovative course.”
Sumegha Lazarus, Asst.

"1st
, let me congratulate the entire IDCWC Online team for putting
together such an amazing course!! Hats off to you all!! Rarely
does one come across a course, which is so comprehensive,
student-friendly and challenging. The course made me question
and delve deeper into ideas and thoughts, which had not hitherto
been, kneaded enough. The language used was simple and strong
enough to get the message across to the learner. The learning
interactions, I must say have been done very well. And how
can I forget! Wavelength’s support and expertise in
the field made me feel comfortable all through.
In all, I feel very lucky and grateful
that I got to do the IDCWC Course. It is quite a masterpiece!"
Rochana Rajan, Law Associate,
Athreya Associates, Mumbai.
"I
was not a "e-learning" fan till I joined the IDCWC
Online course! I liked the course structure and detailed comments
on my assignments & project work kept me motivated throughout
the course.
Although my immediate application of the course learning is
not in the e-learning space, I am seeing a lot of value by
applying the concepts into designing training courses and
improving some of the existing training contents."
Sreeprya Jayaprakash,
Sr. Executive
(Learning & Development), ARM
Embedded Technologies (India Office), Bangalore.
"This
was my first experience of e-learning. I never thought I could
complete the course successfully while on job. But thanks
to your strict schedules, I was pushed towards completing
my assignments on time. I really appreciated the feedback
I got for all of my assignments. Whenever I had any kind of
problem or queries, I got help immediately. I am very glad
I completed the course at Wavelength. ”
Vijetha Mallikarjun
Malkai, Technical Writer, Verifone

"Course
- Concepts were neatly explained with apporpiate examples.
The course has followed the rules it taught. The feedback
for the assignments were very good and up-to the point. The
facilitator paid attention to the detail in reviewing them.
Experience - Nice and enjoyable..Kept us on track. Little
hectic towards the end. Made me think from different perspectives
Learning - Came to know about the
existing learning models and therories which instilled confidence
in me in designing any course.
Application - I am able to apply the learnt concepts at my
job not only for Online learning courses but Instructor Led
Training as well.”
V. Annapoorani,
Asst. Consultant (Instructional Design), Tata
Consultancy Services ,Chennai
"It
has been a challenging and unique learning experience. This
was my first online course ever, and it was no less demanding
than a classroom one. I loved the way the course lectures
were presented, discussions facilitated, and assignments evaluated
to continuously guide learning. Content-wise too, I am fully
satisfied as I learnt a number of new practical tools, frameworks,
and methodologies for instructional design as well as content
writing. That I am actively engaged in course design and delivery
(though CBTs) makes me value the course even more.”
Bharati Joshi, Independent
Consultant (Training & Curriculum Design), Jaipur
"The
experience was wonderful, though a little hectic at times.
But kudos to Aakash, he ensured that the assignments were
submitted on time. In my case it is the other way round. Application
already existed but I never knew about the theory. Course
per se was well structured. In fact I should say the course
‘Walked the Talk’. And finally, Shafali thanks
to you for your timely feedback, motivation, and inputs.”
Manjula Ramprasad,
Asst. Mgr.(Training & Devpt.), Hinduja
TMT, Bangalore.
"This
course taught me how to integrate different concepts to bring
a result. No other course I did ever taught this key skill
to me. As I neared the end of the course, I started appreciating
the course more. ”
G. Sreenivasa Rao, Sr.
Project Coordinator, Sahanav,
Hyderabad
"Overall
the course completely meets the objective of being able to
apply ID in creating excellent course designs.
The experience has been positive,
it was my first online course and the effectivenes of e-learning
was brought home by the course. The discussions and the feedbacks,
the assignments were just right to enable understanding and
application of each theory and model.
The learning was an enjoyable and
joyful experience. The simple but effective animations, the
various forms of illustrations, the all endearing bholu, the
reflections and info potions, the colour schemes used, all
added to the enjoyable experience.
The application learning was woven
right through the course by connecting the theories and models
with concept assignment and slowly building on the course
project. Considering the duration of the course the break
up of the modules and its components was just right.”
Rashida Atthar,Consultant
, Mumbai
"The
course has been excellent. To a beginner, it is the right
way to begin. For the experienced, it is an appropriate way
to fine-tune their skills. I have no second thoughts in saying,
that this course is truly of a world class. The best part
of the course is that it is a course on e Learning offered
through e-Learning methodology. An important characteristic
is its learner friendliness. The interactive nature of the
course sustains interest throughout. At no moment do you feel
left away. Evaluation and Review of assignments helps you
to get on the right track.
Highly recommended for those planning
to make their career in e-Learning industry.”
T. Navin, Sr. Research
Executive, Basix,
Hyderabad.
"The
IDCWC Online course literally walks the talk, every step of
the way (…and I have seen a few courses!) You guys practice
what you preach. To have evolved a systematic and scientific
approach to teach what is essentially a very creative subject
is no mean achievement. Full marks to you!...
The course is designed almost to perfection. Each component
of the course plan - whether it is the discussion thread topic,
the intermittent interactive exercise, or the case study -
has been carefully crafted with a specific objective in mind.
The assignments and the feedback have been designed to be
stepping stones for the forthcoming topic. Ditto with the
supplementary teaching aids - the additional reading, the
reflection and even the icons used are all there with a clear-cut
purpose.
The application on which the course runs, is user-friendly
and almost flawless - I would like to make a special mention
of the Quiz, the Online Test and the various interactions
through the course.
For someone like me who is no stranger to elearning content
development, but still struggling to put a finger on exactly
how to design an effective elearning course, this course has
been an eye opener. I intend to reinvent my career as a logical
outcome of this
course. ”
Arun Belavadi,
Project Manager (eLearning), Excel-Soft
Technologies, Mysore.
"Your
course was very good. This was my first online course and
the experience was fantastic.
The course material was very informative and the exercises
very good. One particular thing that I liked about your course
was the deadlines given to us. This always kept us on our
toes. When it comes to learning, you have used a lot of examples,
which made complex topics easier to understand. The learning
interactions that related to practical instructional design
were informative. They gave us a feel of what we were going
to face.
To sum up, I'm a very confident person now and my approach
to learning or training has changed. Thanks to you and your
team. ”
Mahesh Reddy, Group
Leader - Training, Hinduja
TMT, Bangalore.
“The
content of IDCWC is superbly tuned to empower us with intricacies
of instructional design and content writing."
Dipankar Maitra, Sr.
Executive, Aunwesha

"This
is the most gratifying course I have ever undergone professionally
speaking. The content delivery mechanism is near perfect.
Almost all major principles of Andragogy have been addressed
to while designing the course. The course is an example of
how effective eLearning can be. I'm sure this course will
soon earn the reputation of a "Must Attend" course in the
ID community.
The feeling that arises in my heart when I think back of the
days I was involved in the course is one of immense happiness
because of the satisfaction of meaningful knowledge gain.
”
Vinay Varrier, Project
Leader, Sherston

“The
course was conducted very systematically. You all should get
an A+ for punctuality! Your comments after reviewing our assignments
were very valuable. More than these things I appreciate your
'personal touch' with us! You have the art of encouraging
your students and getting the best out of them!
Bravo!! God bless you and your IDCWC team at Wavelength!
Latha Mali, SME, Praxis

good”

"
• I have seen numerous online training modules, but
have not come across any which has been designed so well.
Keeping the participant engaged with no face-to-face interaction
requires minute level attention in the course design. I really
appreciate it.
• The concepts were well explained with realistic examples.
The role-play discussion sub-modules were well thought of.
• The discussion forum proved to be a good interactive
forum for people to place their thoughts and experiences.
• The application of what I learnt would be significant
in the assignment I am in. Some of the hitherto concepts which
were just in the mind were brought out very clearly.
• The fillers (characters, anecdotes, quizzes, role-play
discussions) added color to the entire module--- they were
appropriately and adequately positioned.”
Shivendra
Srivastava, Manager (Business
Advisory Services), Ernst
& Young ,Hyderabad
"
* The assignments were truly challenging and made me go back
to the theories multiple times before I could come up with
solutions. This way the exercises effectively supported reinforcement.
* The discussion forum was the next best thing in the programme.
To be able to communicate with people practicing e-learning,
share views, and interact, was a truly rewarding experience
for me. Since this was more of an extempore exercise it proved
to be truly helpful.
* Each theory discussed in the programme was made relevant

Vikramaditya Tiwari
, Vice President, HSBC

"It
was a great learning experience and I liked the learning strategy
used to present the course and that too to experienced Instructional
Designers. The scenario based learning was very effective
because the caes studies used were very true to our workplace
environments. Though I knew all the theories and principles
by rote, but how we were applying them in our work without
being aware of them was brought to us while doing the assignments
and other exercises. Now I feel more confident about my instructional
design fundas and feel capable of giving convincing rationale
for my views when working on projects as a free lancer.”

"The
course is spot on, relevant to industry requirements and deployable.
I found tools used for imparting/sharing knowledge very pertinent.
I have become a self-proclaimed ambassador of wavelength IDSP
course. ”
Ramit Nagyal

"
I thoroughly enjoyed the IDSP online course. The interactions
on the discussion forum were stimulating and informative.
The eight-week course packed in just the right amount of information
and knowledge. The introduction to various ID theories and
concepts was crisp and informative. It created an urge to
learn more – especially about the latest developments
in the space of learning.
The various activities were designed
to make the participants think and apply the concepts learnt
through the course. The learning interactions were well spaced,
and there was no pressure, though the timelines kept us on
our toes. Most important, I never experienced the loneliness,
seen as an inherent drawback of online learning. Complete
credit for this goes to the Wavelength team for their prompt
responses.
Overall, I would recommend the
course to anyone associated with training/learning.”
Nivedita Kuruvilla
, Senior Manager (eLearning), Tata

"
I thank you and your team very much for giving me an opportunity
to undergo the IDSP online course. It really is a wonderful
training. I learnt a lot during the course. The course content,
the structure and methodology is superb.
With my busy schedule, I could give my time to the course
and acquired the skills of ID. I would like to do other related
courses, which will help me to have an even stronger grip
over the subject. If you launch any such courses, please inform
me.”
Farooq Badami
, Vice President (HR & D), Fluid

"I
have not regretted a minute spent on this course. Only regret
probably is that it came to an end. I have been recommending
this course and IDCWC as well to my friends as well as family
members.
Each module exceeded my expectation.
I would not have believed it possible to learn so much--theory
as well as practical application--in the course of two months.
Yet, the course was structured such with interactions and
learning checks that I did not feel the pressure at all. It
was challenging, testing my abilities, yet enjoyable…
I can feel the difference it is making to my work almost everyday.
I enjoyed the interactions and
learning checks. They were very well spaced out and never
once let me feel that I have been doing nothing but passively
reading. The learning checks were never too easy and would
not allow complacency to set in.
I believe the future of knowledge
management is in eLearning and IDSP gave me a head start.
There are so many concepts that have become clear to me and
I feel confident about voicing my opinion at work. Thank you.”
Sahana Chattopadhyay,

"In
a nutshell, it was a very informative course and I do feel
a lot confident in talking about the nuances of Instructional
design. The assistance provided by Wavelength & The promptness
of responses to questions either over email or on the discussion
forum made up for the lack of face-to-face interaction.
So, thank you for all your time and effort! I wish you continued
success too! .”

"
The course was excellent! – pitched at exactly the right
level for senior Instructional Design professionals. I was
very impressed with the structure, consistent quality, and
well… every aspect of the course. The discussion forums
were a great platform to interact with fellow IDs. The learning
interactions were well designed and stimulating. The examples
were very useful and practical. The best part was, as and
when I progressed through the course, I could understand that
the course not only taught me the theories and models, but
also applied them so well at every stage, be it Bloom's taxonomy,
andragogy, or Gagne's nine events of instruction.
It was quite challenging to meet the timelines of the course
with my busy schedule, but I enjoyed every moment I spent
with the course. The course met all my expectations and beyond!
It was truly a wonderful experience for me to attend the IDSP
course. I have been recommending the beginner courses to my
juniors and also IDSP to many of my peers. I appreciate and
congratulate the Wavelength team for this great effort.”
Archana Arun

"
I have really enjoyed your course and this especially in view
of the fact that I had some doubts about the online medium.
I have been into classroom teaching and am a die-hard believer
in that! I took the course because I realised online teaching
can reach more people and could well become a necessity in
many cases.
I was pleasantly surprised when
I found myself enjoying the course. One of the reasons I think
is the way the jargon has been introduced - with good interactive
pieces and examples that helped me correlate my experience
with the new jargon. The other important point has been the
course facilitator - her posts in the discussion forum were
thought provoking and very focussed. In addition I was very
pleased with her comments in the assignments - she explains
why she thinks your point is not absolutely right very clearly.
Thanks once again from a die-hard classroom teacher who is
willing to become an online one after taking your course.
(I am at level 4 of Krathwohl's taxonomy - Organizing Values!)”

"In
toto, the IDSP Online Course has been a positive learning
experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the eight weeks I spent on
the course.
Did I learn? Yes, I did. Does what
I learnt help me do a better job as a senior ID / Project
Manager? Yes, it does. I find that the IDSP course is very
practical and can be used to help you do a better job, from
writing learning objectives, to evaluating content in terms
of cognitive load, and then deciding how to present that content
to the learner.
I recommend this course to anybody
who is even remotely connected with facilitating learning,
instructor-led or CBT.
Thanks to the team at Wavelength
for making the course a great learning experience!”

"
The course was conducted quite well and it was a wonderful
experience to have had the opportunity to learn about instructional
design, particularly when one is working and trying to accommodate
the time for learning. The forum and discussions were quite
enlightening. Some pointers provided in the course prompted
good learning and investigations into the developments in
the industry.
Thanks again for a wonderful experience.”

“Writing
is my hobby. I joined CWWC online with the intention of honing
my writing skills for the web. The course more than served
the purpose.
I had never before realized that
there were so many nuances to writing. The course is structured
in such a way that it comes through as a practical learning
experience. The power of writing as a social networking tool
has been lucidly presented. The assignments, discussions and
quizzes were evenly spread and monitored to ensure learning
happened on an almost daily basis.
And all this happened in one quick
month... Kudos to the Wavelength team that made this course
happen!”

“CWWC
Online is an extremely useful course for aspiring writers
like me who want to know about web and wish to contribute
effectively in web space with their writings. The course helps
you understand the web and its reach, equips you with effective
techniques for web wriitng and explains the theories that
drives our online behaviour.
The participating experience was unique: its a very lively
course that keeps you interested in this online course with
its interesting design and real life examples. The course
uses interesting characters, blogs and interactive tools which
makes the learning easy and rewarding.
The CWWC Online has made me confident in the ways i approach
my writing for web and the audience. The areas and terms like
scannable and searchable content and terms like meta tags
are valuable addition to my knowledge. The theories I learned
have given me a new perspective while loking at blogs and
web content. The basics of internet are clear now and definitely
i feel much more confident as a blogger.
The most interesting thing about
this course is the discussion forum. The forum topics make
you think, make you ask questions and make you think beyond
the obvious, apart from sharing each other's thoughts.
To sum it up, another winner from
the team at Wavelength- a course that enables you to hit the
ground running.
Once again, thanks for the opportunity”

CWWC online course was a great experience. The course is comprehensive,
well designed and well thought out. Its interactive design
makes it easy to understand and interesting. It definitely
whetted my desire for further learning and has motivated me
to explore the opportunities offered on the web. The lessons
were well planned and detailed with adequate suggestions for

"I
must say this was probably one of the best experiences of
learning I had in my whole life.
*You never felt alone, because of the discussions with fellow
colleagues. ”

So, thanks to
IDCWC.”

"The
course was just great. It has given me a new insight into
various classic theories related to learning. It has also
enhanced my understanding of the world of e-learning, an emerging
technology in the Indian industry. I thank Wavelength for
its efforts in building and running this course in a most
effective blended way. I congratulate the team for making
it happen.”
Keshava Murthy,
Manager (Technical Training),
Reliance Energy Ltd. ,Mumbai.
"I
had a wonderful learning experience.

"At
the onset, I would like to thank the Wavelength Team for having
created this wonderfully enriching program, which had so much
depth in its content.

Thank you for such a wonderful and innovative course.”
Sumegha Lazarus, Asst.

"It
has been a challenging and unique learning experience. This
was my first online course ever, and it was no less demanding
than a classroom one. I loved the way the course lectures
were presented, discussions facilitated, and assignments evaluated
to continuously guide learning. Content-wise too, I am fully
satisfied as I learnt a number of new practical tools, frameworks,
and methodologies for instructional design as well as content
writing. That I am actively engaged in course design and delivery
(though CBTs) makes me value the course even more.”
Bharati Joshi, Independent
Consultant (Training & Curriculum Design), Jaipur
"I
was not a "e-learning" fan till I joined the IDCWC
Online course! I liked the course structure and detailed comments
on my assignments & project work kept me motivated throughout
the course.
Although my immediate application of the course learning is
not in the e-learning space, I am seeing a lot of value by
applying the concepts into designing training courses and
improving some of the existing training contents."
Sreeprya Jayaprakash,
Sr. Executive

Embedded Technologies (India Office), Bangalore.
"The
experience was wonderful, though a little hectic at times.
But kudos to Aakash, he ensured that the assignments were
submitted on time. In my case it is the other way round. Application
already existed but I never knew about the theory. Course
per se was well structured. In fact I should say the course
‘Walked the Talk’. And finally, Shafali thanks
to you for your timely feedback, motivation, and inputs.”
Manjula Ramprasad,
Asst. Mgr.(Training & Devpt.), Hinduja
TMT, Bangalore.
“The
IDCWC course is an end-to-end solution course that ensures
thorough comprehension of theories and their application.
It bought out in me an enriching ‘Creative and Logical
Blend’ of ‘Designing Content and Writing Content’
to enhance learning to its fullest.
It was indeed a great privilege to earn Honors at Wavelength.
Though the learning process and practice was ‘intense’,
it challenged me to expand my horizon beyond treating Instructional
Design merely as a way to create training manuals."
- Payal
Gandhi , Deputy Manager, Wipro

"My
feedback, in one word is – Fantastic!
To be specific, I liked:
a) the style of training of the facilitator and I appreciate
the content selection and time allocated for each content
chunk.
b) different modes of staying connected (discussion forums
and assignments) that help in increasing the retention level.
c) focus on application of various models and theories that
we study.
d) the experience & the knowledge of the facilitator and
her awareness level of the latest developments in the ID field.

“As
an ActionScript programmer, I was always keen on learning
FLEX and wanted to expand my skills in this technology. I
am a regular reader of Wavelength’s Newsletter and had
already done two ActionScript certifications (ASDC and AS2OOP)
from there. While going through the newsletter I read about
the FADC (Flex 3.0 Application Developer Certificate course)
certification being introduced by WAVELENGTH and got myself
enrolled for the same without giving it a second thought.
I was already familiar with the methodology of Wavelength
which I always feel is the best learning experience I have
ever came across.
The course is conducted in such
a manner that gives a programmer the in-depth knowledge of
FLEX as a technology and the new classes introduced in AS
3.0. After the course, I feel confident of developing FLEX
Applications and have clear understanding of what I write
when I develop in FLEX.
The vast knowledge of Mr. Anand
in the field of e-learning and software development had always
encouraged me to attend and give 100% effort in my class.
The discussion forum, regular assignments and the project
helped me build my conceptual as well as practical knowledge
in FLEX and AS 3.0.
All my gratitude to WAVELENGTH!”

“I
will definitely miss Wavelength forever. It has been quite
a remarkable experience of learning here. I have already done
two courses before doing Wavelength’s FLEX course. I
found this course is up to the mark like other courses of
Wavelength despite ours being the first batch. Wavelength’s
practical approach and down to earth examples helped me to
understand this course very clearly. I feel very confident
now with what learning this training program has imparted
to me.
Thank you for your unwavering support.”

“It’s
a place for professionals.”
“It
was a very good experience to be part of the Wavelength for
the second time with the FLEX 3.0 course, as earlier I did
ASDC (ActionScript Developer Certificate course). Wavelength’s
training programs are very well structured, and conducted
in a very professional manner. The way they cover each topic
with very live examples is excellent and it helps us do a
lot of work in a professional environment .The depth of knowledge
I got during this course has made me fully confident about
developing Flex Applications.
I thank Wavelength that it has
given me an opportunity to participate in the Flex course.
My good wishes are always with Wavelength and I expect that
in future they will launch more good trainings so that we
can get more and more benefit from the courses and rise in
life.”

“When
I typed in ActionScript training in Google for the first time,
the very first link that appeared was Wavelength’s.
I used Google because I am a C++ developer and don’t
have any contact with people working in ActionScript domain.
Searching for the right course itself was a challenge for
me as I wanted to invest my hard earned money in a good training
institute, I use the word “good” because my experience
with other institutes was below average and not as per my
expectations.
Since Google is not partial to
anyone in specific so I also found other Action Script training
institutes. I made inquires with all of them and finally rated
Wavelength top among them. This was because Wavelength responded
to all my queries very transparently without telling me ‘Why
they are the Best?’
I was properly counselled at Wavelength.
I realized that not everyone can take a Wavelength course;
only those who satisfy the prerequisites for the course can
do so. That day I realized that the strong foundation of Wavelength
was firmly built on the two basic pillars, Quality and Discipline,
where I never saw any compromise.
The course has predefined set of
methodologies and rules. The marking system is very transparent
and effective. Each and every task has a predefined benchmark.
The complete training is meant for achieving milestones. All
the course activities carry marks along with it, so each competitor
tries his best. The marks obtained are transparent & open
for all. Feedback for each assignment is provided properly,
so that one understands the reason for the marks given.
Finally, I would say Wavelength
was the first and last institute where I have seen CMM level
Quality and IIT type Training and Discipline. Finally I will
use the word ‘Excellent’ for Wavelength’s
trainings and congratulate all those students, who have gained
recognition as programmers after completing their course from
Wavelength."
-
Parminder Singh, Sr. Software Engineer,
MTree
Software .
“Those
eight weeks, which I spent at Wavelength, were full of learning
and gaining knowledge. I not only got the opportunity to grasp
the concepts of much in demand – “ActionScript”,
but at the same time I learnt – what is the eLearning
industry all about.
Though I didn’t have any
prior programming background, at Wavelength I didn’t
even realize how quickly I grasped the concepts of ActionScript.
By the end of the course, I felt that this was my first and
the most effective programming experience! The courseware
is so well structured and consists of a variety of activities
such as discussion forums, assignments, online test, project
presentation and the list goes on…. It makes you a full-fledged
ActionScript programmer and not just any other coder with
some vague commands in mind. You gain confidence in applying
your own logics and add creativity to this technical field.
After completing this course, I
am delighted to say, I am ready to face any challenge in the
well known eLearning companies. It will be a pleasurable experience
for any potential student who wishes to join Wavelength and
make the most out of it!"
- Shivani
Nayyar , UI Designer, Magic
Software.
“I
am a Flash designer in an e-learning company and I always
wanted to learn ActionScript. I came to know about Wavelength
through their website and felt very happy because this is
the only place where you can learn e- learning based ActionScript.
The ASDC is a very well structured course where we get different
assignments, which help us make our concepts strong. I joined
Wavelength with a hope and Wavelength fulfilled my hope. I
have learned ActionScript and feel more confident now because
now I can design as well as program in Flash. Wavelength has
given a new turn to my career. ”
- Nitesh
Jain, Flash Designer, FCS
Ltd.
“It
was really a pleasant experience doing a course at Wavelength.
I am very impressed with the way they teach and use real life
examples in their teaching. I enjoyed working on project,
assignments and discussions during the course. I have a design
background and I wanted to start my career as ActionScript
programmer. I was confused about how I could start it with
a new beginning. But after doing this course from Wavelength,
I am very confident about the ActionScript and I am now ready
to start my career as a ActionScript Programmer. After gaining
some work experience, I will surely do the next level-programming
course from Wavelength."
- Vikas
Sharma, Graphic Designer, Just
Dial Services.
“I
really had a good experience while learning Action Script
at Wavelength. I have joined courses at other places also
but I personally feel that Wavelength’s methodology
is the best.
While learning ActionScript at Wavelength, I felt as if I
was actually working for some one. Here the assignments, project,
regularity & strict discipline helps the students become
best in their stream. Anyone interested in learning good ActionScript
must join Wavelength.”
- Pradeep
Rawat, Graphic Designer.
“"Being
a part of the WAVELENGTH has been the greatest learning experience
of my life. I would like to thank my mentors for their unconditional
support and help throughout the course. Before joining Wavelength,
I was not at all confident of writing ActionScript code and
used to take help from books and tutorials without knowing
what I was writing. But in these 2 months at Wavelength, I
have not only learned how to write ActionScript code systematically
on my own but also I am now confident of what I write. The
best thing I like about Wavelength is the way they explain
the concepts and terminologies with the help of real life
Examples. The course methodology that is being employed in
the Wavelength is without a doubt most informative, interactive,
and it provides an array of learning activities. In the end
I would say that it was a wonderful learning experience at
Wavelength and they have made learning easier and enjoyable.
Thanks to WAVELENGTH!”- Nitish Lamba.
Nitish Lamba, ActionScript
Programmer, Magic
Software
“Wavelength
is the name of trust. Here we get exposed to actionScript
according to the commitment made by the Wavelength. They impart
the knowledge of ActionScript with the easiest methodology,
which I have ever seen. In my opinion, it is difficult to
find such a place in these days. This is one of the best places
of learning in northern India. After completion of ASDC Course,
I got a chance to work with a good eLearning company. Presently
I am doing the Advanced ActionScript course (AS2OOP) from
Wavelength.”
Vivek Saxena, ActionScript
Programmer, Magic
Software
“I
must say that the course make well worth of your money spent
on it. It helped me build my conceptual base for ActionScript
programming and now after completing the course I can say
that I can do programming in Flash very efficiently as my
concepts are clear. That's why I would like to warmly thank
Wavelength not only for their teaching me ActionScript but
also for helping me in such a great way that it made me a
confident programmer.”
- Tajinder
Juneja , UI Designer, Magic
Software.
“It
was really a wonderful experience taking a course at Wavelength.
Their way of teaching and their practical approach is just
awesome. At wavelength they really make you confident that
you can face any kind of problem. The most important thing
is they are very particular about the assignments and projects
so that one can learn most from the course and practice it.
They teach you to work according to the way eLearning industry.
They not only give the conceptual knowledge but also teach
you how it works practically. The assignments and the final
project make you explore ActionScript practically. Studying
at Wavelength built a strong platform for me in ActionScript.
At Wavelength, one not only learns the concept of ActionScript
but also becomes strong in the concepts of how other programming
languages work.”- Parvinder Kaur.
(Parvinder works with Studio
Smile as Online Web Designer. She is now applying the
power of ActionScript to make interactive sites for her company.)
“My
search for an institution, which provided knowledge of ActionScript,
began when suddenly my job required me to work on the programming
of Flash. As a novice in Software, this was a great challenge.
During this I came in contact with Wavelength. At our first
meet, I was convinced of their commitment towards their work
and the seriousness with which they approached this course.
During the two months I stayed with the Wavelength family,
I realized their methodology of training did not only incorporate
knowledge of ActionScript, but helped me grasp a general notion
of how most languages worked and how to approach issues when
developing an application. The projects that were assigned
to us, gave a practical dimension to the course. The final
project provided a complete overview of what the applications
of ActionScript would be in the e-learning industry.
But to top it all, I have to commend Ranjeet and Shafali for
their commitment to their Work. Kudos! ”- Binish
Mushtaq.
(Binish works with American
Express as Sr. Training Analyst and is responsible for
the eLearning initiative at his organization.)
“
Wavelength is the place of trust and if the person is keen
to learn he can learn so many things. The methodology which
wavelength follows is excellent, i.e. A real & live Project
while learning. Though I've spent only 2 months here, but
I really learnt so many things, that I was not able to understand
in the last one year of my career. I am looking forward to
joining Wavelength’s advance course in ActionScript
very soon, which will definitely makes me more skilled and
improve my prospects further.”- Vishal Saxena.
(Vishal works as ActionScript Programmer
with Technovate

“
It was sheer pleasure and nice experience being at Wavelength.
The way ASDC course took shape, and resulted in knowledge
gain with a sound confidence level- I am glad. I wish you
all good luck. May you train many good and talented people
and help them come out with flying colors.
Thanks Wavelength for
all your support and guidance.”- Kamal Sharma.
(After completing the course, Kamal joined
IBM.
He works at IBM Bangalore as ActionScript Developer.)
“This
course has not only taught us mere actionscript but also helped
us in developing conceptual thinking as far as programming
is concerned. I have done couple of long term IT training

I took the help of books but books did not help me out as
there was nobody to answer my queries. Then a friend of mine

"
The IDCWC-experience as I would like
to call it, has been immensely uplifting, energizing and engaging
all through. A well-spread out and well-designed course using
the ID strategy was the best tribute to the subject that was
taught.
A break of 5 years and the challenge
of going back to industry with a good branding would have
been really difficult without the holistic grooming that I
experienced. I was not just taught the subject well but honed
as an individual as well. Both are equally important when
you are all set to market yourself.
I have been unable to resist the
temptation of suggesting this course to my colleagues, friends
(in related job profiles) even if they are in senior positions,
well placed and already leading an established career. That
speaks it all. This whole experience is indispensable to someone
who has some connection with the e-learning industry. Shafali,
you put your heart into the training and kept the whole group
motivated till the end. Thank you so much.
Wavelength is doing a wonderful
service to the aspirants. Please keep up the good work!"

"
I'm extremely happy that I took the IDCWC course from Wavelength.
This is one of the best learning experiences I've ever had.
I'm a person with media background and joined this course
with very little knowledge about Instructional Design. Now
I feel much more confident and can do a whole lot of things.
The course has been designed so well that each and every session
was a wonderful experience. The assignments and online discussion
forum have helped identify the writer in me. The classroom
discussions were a good platform to share knowledge and ideas
from peers. "
- Vijayakumar
Krishnan, Project Lead, Accenture,

"Conundrum
is the word that sums up my perspective on Instructional Design
before doing the IDCWC course from Wavelength. I was so confused
and stressed that I doubted my decision to become an Instructional
Designer and thought that probably ID is not of my cup of
tea. Then, came this course that completely changed by perspective
towards ID and myself. In the course, I learned the application
of the ID principles, theories and models for the first time
and realized that I have been doing ID subconsciously from
quite some time. IDCWC has helped me shred away my fears,
inhibitions, doubts and intimidation and resurrect the belief
on my caliber as an Instructional Designer. This course is
indeed powerful and magical enough to do the same to you.
My recommendation: Do give it a try and believe me you won´t
regret rather you´ll cherish this experience for long!
"
- Suchandra
Ganguly , Instructional Designer, Content Solutions, Genpact,

"My
quest for seeking knowledge on Instructional Design (ID) began
when I job posted to a Training Analyst’s position.
I was looking for a structured approach towards learning ID.
I realized on the job that ID required technical skills, rather
than, just content writing ability. It’s more than meets
the eye.
The training at Wavelength added a new dimension to my existing
knowledge and helped me enhance my ID skills. My existing
knowledge on ID was like a jigsaw puzzle. Scattered and disjointed!
The pieces came together, once I got my concepts clarified
through this training.
I am all praise for the course mentor. She is a thorough professional.
From screening each trainee’s eligibility to the final
execution of the training, she makes sure that the trainees
get individual attention and personal time with her to chart
their own careers. She is open to trainees committing mistakes
and diligently provides value added feedback. It will make
anyone sit upright and wonder – “Oh! Why didn’t
I think like that?”
If you want a no-nonsense approach towards learning and no
false promises from a training provider, then I recommend
Wavelength."

"I
recall the 8 weeks of IDCWC contact course as a rich and a
fantastic learning experience. The course is cleverly designed
and structured, like a well thought run order of modules,
which not only empowers you with the skill of ID, but also
gives you new insights while dealing with content. The course
sessions passed like a breeze, thanks to some intelligent
classroom activities and interesting assignments.
As a media professional, I was
hugely benefited in terms of ideation, structure and design
of content for any audience. This rigorous course enabled
me to "hit the ground running" after the completion,
and I am thankful to Wavelength and its team."

"I
will start with an incidence, which I feel was important for
my decision to go and check out for Instructional Design.
It happened in September last year, the day I joined my first
firm. It was the last day of a colleague in office Ah!! I
forgot to tell you that I joined on this colleague’s
position. In the adieu ceremony, I just asked her, so what
next, and she replied, “I am pursuing a course in ID”
that was the first day I heard of Instructional Design, which
I misunderstood as Information Technology (IT). And when I
checked the word out it actually rang a bell somewhere deep
inside me. And friends, you know what, exactly 3 months later
I came to Wavelength for an interview.
I found a friend and
a mentor in Shafali. Believe me I am not exaggerating. She
is not only a warm person but also a gifted person. She makes
you understand things, which are hard to digest and are difficult
to understand and that what sets her apart.
Today, I proudly
say that yes, I am an ID. I will not lie by saying that I
always dreamt to be an ID. Like every child I had my own set
of dreams, and they are intact still. ID has changed my point
of view. I have grown as a person. My thinking has refined
and I have become way more than a confident person but not
over-confident. I now believe more in myself.
Remember, your
goal should be clear. Make small objectives and work to achieve
your dream, which is the ultimate goal. Keep enlightening
yourself on the path to achieve your goal. There is lot to
learn and life is small to accumulate such a vast ocean of
knowledge."
- Bhanu
Malhotra, Instructional Designer, FCS
Solutions Ltd., Noida.
"This
course has been one of the greatest achievements of my life.
This is not to say that it is the first training, which I
have attended but the way this training programme is organised
and implemented, is just outstanding!
It has been able to put the scattered
pieces of information at the right places. Initially, when
I joined the course, I thought that it is going to be child's
play for me, as most of the theories and models were similar
to those taught as a part of B.Ed curriculum. So, I being
a B.Ed thought that I knew it all, but as the course progressed,
I realised that the story was quite different. Although, most
of us knew about the models and theories, but we learnt their
practical application in the course.
Shafali is a mentor in the true
sense, and a perfectionist, who can even make dull fellow
dance to the tunes of ID. She has developed into me the love
for this field called Instructional Design. Presently, I am
working as a Content Designer and I just love being that!
Thanks for being there and for
opening the creative window of my mind!"

“The
IDCWC course is an end-to-end solution course that ensures
thorough comprehension of theories and their application.
Design merely as a way to create training manuals."

was my journey from Homemaker to Instructional Designer and
I enjoyed every moment of it. It was really a different experience
that enhanced my creativity, and filled my mind with new ideas. Thanks

on different topics, assignments, quizes etc.that helped me
think differently. I found a new person in me who is now more
confident and self dependent.
Thanks."

Awasthi , Homemaker (Now Instructional Designer)
"Thanks
to you for nurturing and enriching me. Thanks to IDCWC course.
The most indulging course of my life till date. A unique course,
which not only taught ID, but also was designed on a structure
based on sound ID principles. The application level was alone
reached without any materials. The talk by the course mentor
was always so engaging that we were able to connect the theories
and models of ID with our concept assignments instantly to
gradually reach our goal-- the course project.
A superb course indeed!

“Wavelength’s
IDCWC course is in itself, a sterling example of how Instructional
Design should be applied for imparting learning.
Far from being served as dry concepts, the theories and models
of Instructional Design leap out from the pages of books and
come alive at Wavelength. ID permeates every aspect of the
IDCWC course. They don’t just teach the principles of
adult learning, they actively apply them... ”

to assignments, from little games to the complete project;
everything was just perfect. IDCWC is a 'must-do'. Earning
an Honors certificate in this course is not very difficult.
All you have to do is - forget about the certificate completely
and focus all the attention on the learning.
E-learning is now an emerging industry in India. Therefore,
through the medium of this course any interested person can
get transformed into a great Instructional Designer. To conclude
this course has an excellent instructor, excellent content,

“The
course was phenomenal. It was one of the most useful trainings
I have ever attended - a good balance of core ideas and practices
and new ideas and theories. I like the fact that there were
a small number of participants, which allowed adequate time
to fully explore and learn on each topic.
It certainly is 'intensive'... A highly focused and concentrated
experience that will enable me to improve the products I design.
The choice of topics covered is excellent and there is direct
applicability of the learning to my work. The topics flow
from one into the other. The information builds gradually
and at the same time the information is comprehensive and
presented at deeper levels.
It was great having the opportunity to put into practice every
week what I learned with the different exercises. Excellent!
I know I leave with many new tools to apply when I return
to the "Corporate world."

Very interesting. Well-designed content and creative. A
totally different experience than the casual and usual corporate
trainings that I had attended earlier. Very intense. Full
of content, role plays, and case-studies. I was able to
easily connect with the trainer. Definitely applicable in
my current role; it is a much needed knowledge enhancement."
Sindhu
Rao - Curriculum Developer, Oracle

- "The training program
was really informative and well organized. I learned a lot
of things that I would like to apply in my work. I really
loved the training. It was very lively." Loganathan
C. G. - Deputy Manager, e-Training, Sutherland

- "I
want to thank you for the training program and the hospitality
combined with warmth. I enjoyed the roleplay sessions and
learning more about the ID world. My enthusiasm for the
training program was particularly strengthened as a result
of my interactions with the facilitator and other participants.
What I liked about
the program is that it is highly interactive and requires
continuous participation. The learner must be actively engaged
in the learning process; participants were frequently required
to learn pieces of information and respond to questions
about the situations. The assignments have given me the
insight of practical application of the learning. I've started
application of ID at my workplace." Sulochana
Verma - Project Manager , Thomson
Digital , Noida.
- “
The content that the workshop covered was really very good.
The activities were designed to reinforce whatever was taught
in the class quite well. "

on the structure of instructional storytelling very helpful
and systematic. I will attempt to apply it very soon."

Online Instuructional Design (ID) Courses (Top) |

"
I am delighted I took the IDCWC online course and it is,
I think, a perfect example of a very well-structured online
course. Students were given very clear guidance regarding
the course content, evaluation etc.
To be honest, I didn’t expect
it to be that intensive when I registered. There is indeed
a lot of material to cover in three months and it is challenging.
But I feel I have learned a lot and would certainly recommend
it to anybody interested in Instructional Design."
Dr. Veronique Gauthier,
Editor, Authentik
Ltd., Dublin, Ireland.
"First,
I’d like to say that I loved everything about the course.
"The
way the course was facilitated was interesting and encouraging
all along the journey.
Open University
, Palestine
"I
felt the course was well structured and the activities well
placed throughout the training. I enjoyed the course and the
method of delivery. The course has helped to motivate me and
helped me see how online training can be implemented effectively.
I also enjoyed the group discussions and finding out other
learner’s views on different aspects of ID. I learnt
a lot about ID from the course and also enjoyed the learning
process that was used.
Thank you wavelength, for a course well designed as well as
interesting. ”
Kogiela R, Instructional
Designer, Nedbank,
Johannesburg, South Africa.
“Honestly,
this has been one of the best learning experiences I have
ever had. For me, it was much better than a traditional classroom
setting. I was able to focus on key concepts pertinent to
me without "noise."
I have seen other courses offered with promises of similar
results in an accelerated format such as a week. These courses
have even carried international brand names in the industry;
yet, which have defied logic as to how the content could be
as comprehensive or absorbed properly in such a timeframe.
I had a good time and learned from the course and my peers.
The course was
great."
Brandon Tautimer, eLearning
& New Media Designer, HD
Institute, Arizona, USA.
