Brief:
The relationship between instructional design and training is multi-faceted
and quite complex. Yet there is no denying the fact that there is
a serious relationship between the two. Instructional design lays
the foundation of a good training program. It accomplishes this
through correct implementation of audience and task analysis, robust
design of the training, and finally a smooth and effective implementation
of the training program.
In the past few years, training has become a very strong function
in most organizations. This is especially true for the BPO industry,
which has a continuous requirement for language and process trainings.
The trainers in the BPO organizations are intelligent and smart
individuals who can truly design and impart trainings that are more
effective, both instructionally as well as financially, if they
apply instructional design principles to their work.
This workshop focuses on the relationship between instructional
design and training and attempts to rationally explain why the trainers
who have a sound understanding of instructional design are able
to achieve far more for themselves and their organizations, than
those who underestimate the power of instructional design.
